At Grit, Grace & Glow

We don't operate from a building. We are a community-powered movement dedicated to bringing hope, dignity, and encouragement to foster and adopted girls ages 8 to 18.

Through initiatives like Luggage of Hope, Glow Missions, community partnerships, and resource sharing, we mobilize individuals, families, schools, churches, businesses, and organizations to make a meaningful difference.

Our focus is simple: connecting communities with opportunities to support foster and adopted girls through acts of kindness, practical resources, and awareness efforts that remind them they are seen, valued, and never forgotten.

Luggage of Hope

When a girl enters foster care, transitions between placements, or begins a new chapter in her journey, she may be forced to carry her belongings in a trash bag or temporary container. Luggage of Hope exists to change that experience by providing luggage that restores dignity and offers a sense of comfort during times of transition.

Through community donations and partnerships, we collect and distribute new and gently used suitcases, duffel bags, carry-ons, and travel bags to foster and adopted youth. Each piece of luggage represents more than a practical item. It is a reminder that someone cares.

What may seem like a simple suitcase can carry a powerful message: You are seen. You are valued. You matter.

By bringing communities together through luggage drives and donation efforts, Luggage of Hope helps ensure that girls navigating difficult transitions do so with dignity, encouragement, and the support of a community that believes in them.

Glow Kits

Glow Kits are thoughtfully curated care packages created to uplift and empower foster and adopted girls through moments of encouragement and support. Each kit centers around a theme, like self-love, mental health, confidence, goal-setting, wellness, or creativity, and includes inspiring items such as journals, affirmation cards, art supplies, or self-care tools that help girls feel seen, valued, and cared for.

Distributed seasonally or by request, Glow Kits are more than just gifts; they’re reminders that healing and growth are possible, and that someone believes in her journey. Whether a girl receives her kit at home, in a group home, or through an agency partner, every box is packed with intentional love, affirming her worth and sparking the glow within.

Glow Wall

The Glow Wall is a powerful way to connect the hopes of foster and adopted girls with the hearts of people who want to help. Girls share real, personal requests, like art supplies, a journal, a backpack, or the chance to attend a dance class, and we post them anonymously on our virtual wall. Each goal reflects a dream, a need, or a simple desire that reminds her she’s allowed to ask, to hope, and to be seen.

Community members can scroll through the wall, select a goal that speaks to them, and fulfill it directly by purchasing or donating the item. G3 then ensures it’s delivered to the girl with care and encouragement. Every fulfilled goal becomes more than just a gift; it’s a meaningful moment where she knows someone out there truly believes in her.

Glow Missions

At Grit, Grace & Glow, we believe small acts of kindness can create a lasting impact. That's why each month we invite individuals, families, churches, schools, businesses, teams, and community groups to participate in a Glow Mission.

These themed service projects provide meaningful ways to support foster and adopted girls through the collection of items such as books, hygiene essentials, journals, comfort items, handwritten notes, and other resources that bring encouragement and care.

Once donations are collected, G3 works with trusted community partners and agencies to distribute them to the girls and families they serve.

More than a donation drive, Glow Missions are an opportunity to be part of a growing movement of people committed to showing foster and adopted girls that they are seen, valued, and never forgotten.
